VMD

 Was involved in the formation of Sbarro Japan, Inc. (a joint venture of US Sbarro Inc. and JCI, Inc. in Japan).
Developed business plans for branding, marketing, store development (designing) and menu design (for stores in AEON MALL Hinode unit , Kichijoji unit and Shibuya unit)
Sales for six months achieved 130% of the sales projection.

 Consultant for an Adidas store development project.
Provided consultations on target setting, concept development, the direction for product lineup, etc.

 Developed plans and conducted creative work for sales promotion of engine oil
Focused on engine oil and used it in promotional activities for Exxon Mobil to increase its sales.
Planned consumer campaigns, PR activities, oil change promotion campaigns, campaigns and incentives within the company, product display competitions among sales agents, etc.  The creative work included the supervision of progress in the production of kits for oil change promotion, sales operation manuals, tools used at stores, furniture and printed matters.
The sales of engine oil increased at gasoline stations as well as retail shops.  Japan was second in the global ranking of Mobil-branded engine oil sales.  This successful case was communicated to Exxon Mobil branches around the world.
Was involved in the operation of, and the creative work for, the motor sports sponsored by the company.

 Developed plans and conducted creative work for TOYOTA Netz throughout a year (including the supervision of progress in the production of tools used at stores, furniture and printed matters).

 Developed plans and conducted creative work throughout a year for PR activities and promotion for Baskin-Robbins 31 Ice Cream (Account Executive).

 Developed plans for branding and conducted creative work for “CW-X,” a male sportswear brand created by Wacoal, a female underwear maker (including the supervision of progress in the production of tools used at stores, furniture and printed matters).
Developed a promotional plan that used professional baseball player, Ichiro Suzuki (SEA) as a monitor.

 Presentation

 Produced a program for the Internet TV, GyaO.  The program was solely sponsored by Kobe Clinic (a clinic providing LASIK surgery).
The program for GyaO was produced because this industry is unable to sponsor a program for terrestrial broadcasting.
Talk show inviting guests (people from the entertainment industry and athletes who had LASIK surgery)
LASIK surgery was recommended to guests, who then received the surgery, and posted their experiences on the web.

 Conducted sponsor sales and acted as the Japanese agent for an MLB official sport, the Hawaii Winter Baseball League (HWB).
Sponsors: H.I.S., FULLCAST and “phiten”.
Gave presentations on sponsors’ products and services to the players.
This is an instructional league for professional baseball in the United States, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan.  The league produced many players who moved onto MLB or NPB (including Ichiro, Jojima, Iguchi, Taguchi, K. Matsui, Shinjo, Miyamoto and Kamei).

 Developed plans and conducted creative work for sampling promotion and demonstration sales for a foreign cigarette brand, Salem.
Had consumers smoke the cigarette, explained its selling points to them and encouraged them to switch to the brand in the promotional campaign.

 Business and Content Planning

 Sponsor sales and PR activities in Japan to attract people to the Saipan Marathon.

A member of the Saipan Marathon Preparation Committee authorized by the Mariana Visitors Authority.

MD

 Development, production, wholesale and retail selling of products (private brand) for TV shopping programs.
The programs include “Teleto-Mart” (TX), “Tukai Shop Island” (Tokyo TV Land Co., Ltd.) and other programs broadcasted by cable TV stations.
Produced 7-minute infomercial films.
Units sold: 50,000 vacuum cleaners / 25,000 bread-baking machines / 60,000 blenders
